Is this brand reliable? Im currently using a herc and ive had no problems. However ive seen a nice X800 XT for a great price (Connect3d) and i was wondering if anyone here uses such brand and is happy with it?
 
I have a Radeon x800xl made by Connect 3d that I got from Monarch for $249. It's a good card, and I've had zero problems with it. The cooling on it's okay, haven't really tried to overclock much (not that an 800xl usually has much headroom anyway). I remember someone in the forums once mention that they were the "Sapphire of Europe." Not sure how true that analogy is, but a visit to their website definitely shows that Europe is their focus. I don't know what kind of impact that'd have on their service and support, but I've not had to deal with any problems.
 
As I remember, connect3d was mostly a European company and is an ATI contractor. The cards they build are virtually the same as cards with the ATI name. I think ATI used to list their contractors on their website. I had a connect3d 9500 and it was virtually the same as a ATI 9500.
