All my Internet experience has been with accesing a database using ASP, to update and edit a standard MS Access database.
Now I am in a situation where I need to do the same thing but I need to use VB.NET and CGI scripts.
How exactly is this process, just an overview of what is happening. I am under the impression that when you click on the html form, that VB script is run to access the database accordingly. But where does CGI come into play at?
And are there any good sites (I have googled but cannot find any) that give coding examples of how to connect to a MS Access database using VB from an HTML page? The more the merrier, for I am under a huge time crunch of a deadline.
Thanks.
