Somebody posts that the terrible popularity rating of Congress has improved 10% under Democrats suggesting more people like the direction it is going under them.

Then we get a shit pile of comments from folk who still have a negative view of it implying that because they haven’t changed their view and most others haven’t either that Congress is still worthless.

I was thinking, and I am aware that’s never a good idea, that if anything was very unpopular but later became very popular there would have been some point along that trajectory when it’s popularity would have gone up by 10%.

Sorry to say, then, that regarding all the opinions expressed herein regarding the how and why of all of this including whether or not it is of significance, I don’t give a shit. Apparently it is up 10%.

I do hope, however, that it continues to improve and actually deserves it for things that make it better for ordinary Americans of all stripes.
I hope, also, that those same average Americans take a greater interest in destroying anything that works to prevent that from happening like the Republican fascist party.

It's a ten point increase, not 10%

Republicans ONLY win by gerrymandering. The bulk of the country prefers to vote Democrat.

Yup - the ENTIRE reason republicans will magically flip EVERYTHING that occurred in 2020 when 2022 hits will TOTALLY be the magical gerrymandering that they did inbetween.

Keep telling yourself these things to sleep at night I guess.

Of course it's gerrymandering. I started another thread try to determine if there are ANY policy positions of Republicans preferred by the American people. So far I can't find one.

and if they didn't pass bills because they knew mitch would stonewall, people would complain that they did nothing.

so the only option is to pile them up and say "that turtle is being a piece of shit who wouldn't help a soul unless it involved him getting a little bit more power"
If my sources are correct, turtle has made $35,000,000 and has net worth of $24,000,000.

Seems to me that can only be so effective. If the Republicans lose enough voters no gerrymandering strategy will save them from oblivion. Democrats have to press voter registration and get out the vote efforts in 2022. We're at a tipping point. If Republicans continue to control legislation in the USA, we're doomed.

Republicans are also trying to make it harder to vote in states like GA.

In a couple of states they can ( through gerrymandering) gain six house seats without gaining/needing a single vote extra to win. That’s the magic.

Yeah, shorty forgot about voter suppression and massive disinformation campaigns.
