The tragedy has only began.
It looks like republicans will take the senate in november.
And then we will have two branches of government completely dysfunctional.
Imagine, the US senate nothing more that a carbon copy of the US house?
There are things the senate does and can do that does not concern the house.
Or require the house participation.
Imagine the senate unable to do nothing? Not one thing.
We end up with a president using the executive order, and a republican house and senate only interested in impeachment over presidential executive action.

Yes... I could be worse. Much worse.
And so far everything points to exactly that happening.

Oh, I'm sure with the house and senate in full co-operation, we will see several joint actions.
No doubt, laws attempting to ban all abortion.
A US constitutional amendment to ban same sex marriage.
Privatizing social security.
Medicare voucher system.
And # 1 on the list, repeal Obamacare.
And THAT is how it shall be.

Infrastructure - Creates Jobs
Keystone XL - Jobs and less dependence on foreign oil
Employers will once again be hiring full time workers with benefits
Regain our country's credit rating by lowering our credit utilization
Refortify our military
Say what we mean and mean what we say - no more stupid red lines in the sand
Regain our respect around the world as the super power we were, until BO cheapened us
Create a robust economy
Curtail entitlements to able bodied lazy people
Secure our border and start enforcing laws again
Penalizing countries who's citizens violate our immigration policies
Curtail the borrowing and spending mentality
Let the Coal industry live
Tell the EPA to fuck off
Reign in the IRS
Arrest Obama for his lawlessness and for fraud. No impeachment...straight for the neck vein. The Sergeant At Arms has the power, but not under Holder or Reid. They'd obstruct that.

Glad to see that you are coming around and understanding that the democrat's way of doing business under this president has been a failed venture. CheeriO! Good times ahead!

One thing I have not seen mentioned is activism. I am sure some of us remember mass protests over the Viet Nam war, but I see nothing close to this going on now. the senator in my area has an office in a very accessible area but when protesters do show up (against foreign military intervention) it seem to be only a handful of aging hippies. And here we go again dropping bombs in Iraq (but we are not at war I guess ??) I assume we have to keep feeding the military industrial complex.
I have sent numerous emails and tried to reach local + national politicians (as well as the press) but I do not even get a response from anybody when I shout my opposition to nuclear power (I guess Fukushima has been forgotten).
As has been stated earlier new "leaders" can and/or will not fix much of anything, they will keep feeding from the various troughs http://www.foxnews.com/politics/201...usands-funding-lavish-trips-from-slush-funds/

Nope, they are far from the same. Some good, some bad from both parties. Their typical behavior as politicians is the same however.
Bullshit. There is so little good coming from the GOP these days that rounding it down to nothing doesn't even qualify as hyperbole anymore.

Start off with the premise that the GOP gives a shit about infrastructure and you already confirm you don't live in reality. Then each bullet point from there descends further and further into insanity until we arrive at you calling for Obama's blood. You are the face of the insane right wing these days.

And lucky for the American people we have an election in 3 months that can toss these deadbeats out. But how many here believe the American people will do such a thing?

Most of them are gerrymandered safe. Nothing most of us can do about it.

The GOP represents a lot more people than the mentally unstable. Brash generalizations like that from all the left wingers on this board really do not further your cause. "Mentally Unstable" "Conservative Brain Defect". You're willfully ignoring an entire segment of the population because you are petty and disagree with their ideals.

Tell the MILLIONS of farmers and ranchers who back the GOP party they are mentally insane. You either are yourself the dumbass and do not know how big and diverse the GOP is in the nation and who all it represents, or are an ignorant fool.

Washington state is a perfect example of why your "Republicans lobbying Democrats" is absolutely retarded. The western half of the state is primarily urban and Democrat. The eastern part is primarily rural and Republican. The piss poor initiatives and laws the west side enacts as knee jerk reactions plays hell on the east side. Unfortunately due to the larger majority of the population being in the urban sprawl of the greater Seattle area and fully ignorant of anywhere that is not paved, feel good laws get passed and it straight fucks the rural part of the state. You cannot honestly expect the GOP to back Demorats in any election when they are constantly cutting off their feet instead of weighing the effects of their initiatives on the populous before enacting them.

Stop fucking up the ferry system and educational system of this state and maybe we'll give you asses a break.
