That's because the "tax and spend" liberal is a figment of your fucking imagination. Anyone that doesn't agree that taxes need to be cut is automatically labeled "tax and spend" by the insane right wing, which includes every single self-identified "fiscal conservative."

"The people of this country" as you call them are low-information, easily manipulated blowhards.

Well said and of course his dumbass missed the point you were making.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, if the right really wants things fixed but want it done the "republican" way, they should be electing democrats and lobbying them.

The GOP represents nobody except the mentally unstable. It's time that that segment of the population to be put back on ignore.

Saying Clinton didn't do anything wrong is a dishonesty and you know it. He openly stated he did not have sexual relations with Monica Lewinsky while under oath. That is a crime, regardless of whether I give a shit who he puts his dick it. That was the reason they were calling for impeachment. Had he just said "well, I let her blow me," and been done with it, it would have been fine.

Now, I am not condoning the imbeciles that were claiming he was Nixon-esque and such, just that he wasn't exactly innocent of any law breaking.

What's a crime is investigating what amounts to a personal affair at the tax payers expense. Or do you think our government should be investigating infidelity on capital hill?

And The "Staar Report" stands out today as a shameful example of political malfeasance. The entire event was a sham, and the rest of the country knew it. The only thing Congress managed to do with that entire farce was make Clinton more popular than he ever was.

ndeed, it has long checked-out. Congress has never been perfect, but how the fuck did it get so bad?

I think it has something to do with the Party of No!

If the people won't elect them to run govt, they'll be damned if they'll let anybody else do it. They'd rather burn it down. When they do run it, they invoke a self fulfilling prophesy of incompetence.

The GOP represents a lot more people than the mentally unstable. Brash generalizations like that from all the left wingers on this board really do not further your cause. "Mentally Unstable" "Conservative Brain Defect". You're willfully ignoring an entire segment of the population because you are petty and disagree with their ideals.

Tell the MILLIONS of farmers and ranchers who back the GOP party they are mentally insane. You either are yourself the dumbass and do not know how big and diverse the GOP is in the nation and who all it represents, or are an ignorant fool.

Washington state is a perfect example of why your "Republicans lobbying Democrats" is absolutely retarded. The western half of the state is primarily urban and Democrat. The eastern part is primarily rural and Republican. The piss poor initiatives and laws the west side enacts as knee jerk reactions plays hell on the east side. Unfortunately due to the larger majority of the population being in the urban sprawl of the greater Seattle area and fully ignorant of anywhere that is not paved, feel good laws get passed and it straight fucks the rural part of the state. You cannot honestly expect the GOP to back Demorats in any election when they are constantly cutting off their feet instead of weighing the effects of their initiatives on the populous before enacting them.

I don't think they checked out I think they aged out. They're so old.... soooooo oldd. I get that you can work until your 70's as a senator but I really don't think their ability to absorb new information and adapt and be spry and make decisions based of changing information are just there. They need to retire. Respect your elders and all that. They deserve it. They should be in warm climate somewhere taking it easy and they need to bring in new leaders.

Respect your elders was a thing when the majority of people didn't live past 30 and if you were past 40 it was an amazing feat.

Not that I agree with ivwshane, but those farmers & ranchers derive enormous benefit from govt. Subsidies. Drought relief. Flood control & insurance. Cut rate grazing on public lands. regulated commodity markets. Ag services of all sorts. Protected water rights. They only want the part of the govt that doesn't serve them to be smaller.

That's the usual rant, for sure. Got any specifics?

I agree that it should never been investigated. That does change the fact that Clinton lied under oath.

Yea, the current congress is just atrocious. A parody gone way way too far.

Keep Carl Levin, keep Liz Warren (on close watch), and one other Dem Lady I can't recall, a Iraq vet, and keep Rand Paul (preferably just bring back pops).

Problem for all of us is,...

You can change the players, you can't change the game.

Lol, you think the GOP represent rural farmers and the like? Yeah, sorry, no.

Maybe you should keep up on the news and see just how many people the GOP represents now a days (hint: there is a reason Americans are claiming independent at the expense of republicans).

Sad as it is I tend to agree with him.

I doubt you're in a position to call him son.

maybe because Congress no longer holds American interests as their first priority anymore? search and see how many of them are of dual citizenship. no man can serve two masters; where do their real allegiances lie? we need Americans in Congress who put Americans 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.

Why is congress so bad and ineffective? Look no further than these forums and the party zionists from each side for your answer as your legislators behave the same way. Why is the POTUS so ineffective? Because he projects blame and hasn't the first inclination of effective leadership. Why won't this stagnation situation change? Because the typical American is a dipshit who is more concerned with their smart phones than the negative course this country is on.

Pretty simple really....

Lol! That's some projecting right there if I ever saw it!

Says one of the lead culprits and the zealot of his political party on this forum. All you'll ever see is through a lense your party wants you to focus through. Just blame those before you; it works for you. You talk about others living in a bubble? Not surprisingly you show your character once again by resorting to nothing but insults.

Oh really? What's my party? I'll give you a hint, I side with logic and reasoning and I avoid crazy and stupid at all costs.

What's mine? You've made your assumptions as I have of yours. I'll give you a hint, it's neither a donkey or elephant representing me. You imply that your side and versions of logic and reasoning are by default factual and correct. The key is to realize that perhaps that's not always the case.

I couldn't care less what party you belong to, your claim of "both sides are the same" is bullshit, that is a fact;)

Nope, they are far from the same. Some good, some bad from both parties. Their typical behavior as politicians is the same however.
