Britney Spears was announcing that it was his birthday and said that she considers him to be the artist of the millennium. Michael Jackson thought he was getting an award. 😀
 
good thing they had that prop on the cake, or else he'd be "WTF is my damn award!!" ... i wonder what he did with that prop anyways.. 😛

I was hoping someone would make a fuss. Maybe someone in the audience starts cracking up or something. I bet Britney Spears felt dumb when Michael Jackson started thanking people. If it was possible for her to feel any dumber considering that outfit she was wearing.

You do have to hand it to him though, he did invent the music video as it is today.
 
don't forget billie jean. I liked alot of his older stuff...they were cool.. Plus the thriller video was/is great. 🙂
 
MJ was and still is one of the greatest pop artist to date. just like elvis is dubbed the king of rock and roll, i don't mind if they officially dubb MJ as the king pop (if they haven''t already officially done that).
 
he did win 4 awards though(eminem) and if u ever listen to him all his songs have some sort of meaning but atleast he doesnt wanna kill his daughter
 
I LOVE MJ- I wish he could come with a new bad ass album to destory all the naysayers. I think he's just trying too hard and overproducing instead of innovating like he did before. Man in the Mirror is my partic fav

Agreed. I never really liked him, mostly because I don't like most pop, but he did have several great songs and definately is the king of pop. Too bad he's so frickin' freaky.

I LOVED his music. He's still the best dancer/artist to date. I didn't like his new album because it just sounded like he tried too hard (in his standards -> spend 30 million) it's just a shame that he looks totally disgusting. There are too many bizarre things going on in his life.
 
King of pop......blah right, just cause you sell a lot records doesn't mean your actually any good. How many 12 year olds have good taste in music anyways.
