BTW, I hadn't even heard of this guy before he came up in this issue this morning. A minor league baller getting minutes because the Raptors suck and half the team is hurt... when did that become such a prize? I probably wouldn't have dropped anyone on my team to get him even if I had known about him.

Rafer Alston, A.K.A "Skip to My Lou" is a streetball legend in Rucker Park NY. Played at Fresno State and then draft by Mil Bucks in 2nd round. He was waived and played at NBDL and some other minor league. He just signed a 10 days contract with Raptor 10 days ago.

And i think Stark is right, since Rafer is a FA and not waived by any team. The waiver priority doesn't apply.

Poop -- it sucks that you had Van Exel on the bench last night. He had a real nice game.

But don't pity yourself too much... I did the same thing with Battier. :( I should have figured he'd have a good game against his old team (Stark). ;)

Wow, NJ Swamp Dragons sure wants his #3 spot back from Stark! If it weren't for Steve Francis' ejection, he'd be shutting out IHopeImNotLast 12-0! Very impressive...

Van Exel was in a slump lately, i was thinking of benched him, Jason Richardson or Alston and benched him in the end. I droped Nene Hilario and he had a good game last night. 24 points 9 rebound. He should get lot of minutes at the Nugget and should be a pretty decent FC, too bad i'm loaded at that position and i need a SG or PG desperately.

With my current squad, i should be dominate the FGM, FTM and points categories, not too bad at the rebound and block too. However i still need a SG or PG that can give me some 3 point, assist and steal. I have 5 PG and none of them are pure PG like Stockton or Andre Miller. And not of my guards are good shooter and the only exception is T.Mac.

Swampy is killing this week!! 12-1 may be a record if it holds up until monday.

DS is getting lots of blocks from people who shouldn't be getting them... pau gasol has 4, tinsley has 2, earl boykins has 1 (i'd hate to be the guy he blocked). He needs to miss some free throws if i'm going to have any chance in that category.

I want my #3 seed!! :p

Yeah, I didn't notice that Boykins had a block! Go midget!

However, I don't understand why it's unusual for a 7-foot forward (Gasol) to have 4 blocks.

And I especially don't understand why you're complaining about blocks... Duncan and Brand have as many as your whole team (6), and Duncan and Gasol have more (8) ! You have no chance whatsoever in that category, with or without my contributions from diminutive guards (Boykins, Tinsley, and Wagner).

League News:

Trade between Poop and Lakemyass.

Poop trades Jason Richardson and Lorenzen Wright. Lake trades Reggie Miller, drops Tony Battie.

Strange! I'd like to hear your reasoning, Poop...

Poop needs consistency and a higher shooting %

trade allowed

higher fg%? reggie is good for FT%, but not FG% and he's not very consistent.

He gives you FT and 3's, that's it. Lake My Ass is going to have nothing left to trade soon. He probably could have done better if he had shopped reggie around.

With the addition of Boykins and return of Bob Sura, J.Richardson's minutes and shot has been reducing. Beside he is only shooting 38.6 %, better get rid of him before his value drop lower. Lorenze is over achieving right now and i think eventually Gooden or Swift are gonna to get more minutes. And Kenny Thomas isn't a bad pick either, Machulloch injured, D.Coleman not in shape and Van Horn is too soft, Thomas should get more minutes and play better in the Eastern conference.

Higher than Richardson is what I mean.

He probably could have.

its part of a new strategy that i'm trying out.... ;)

LOL Swai, looks like you are trying to have maximum game and outrebound me. Kind of suprise this morning, while i have 216 rebounds and you still able to rack up 220 rebounds. Shouldn't had benched Antonio Davis yesterday, but getting Mason for Kenny Thomas isn't too bad..

boy this is close....

i'm just hoping not to lose too badly. stupid injuries... i playing without stackhouse, bobby jackson, vince carter... aiya. i not sure my chances of making the playoffs are too good with these injuries. oh well, at least i doing well in the rotisserie league, where i have a decent chance of winning

Well Stark, I'm guessing that you (like me) were keeping close track of Nash's performance last night -- which would determine the outcome of our week's matchup. With just 17 points (below his season average), he would propel me to a 7-5 victory. Heck, if he got hot and made 10 FGs, it would be 8-4!

Oh, my inexpressible dismay at checking the box score last night and seeing 14 points next to his name... :(

I'll take a tie. I didn't get much from shaq and you got good production from both duncan and kidd. boykins keeps taking minutes and stats away from arenas, so i can take consolation in the fact that he didn't do much for you last week.

Now I have to face poop. He would have whipped me 9-3 if I played him last week.

I'm not sure I understand. Duncan and Kidd both played only 2 games last week. Duncan was ranked #12, and Kidd was #93. Boykins, on the other hand, was all the way up at #43.

edit: Also only 2 games last week for Brand and Odom.

Y'all better watch out now... I just picked up Earl Boykins. :D

Boykins having another game like that this season is as likely as me giving you Houston for Davis. :p

Let's see... 10-17 FGs, 7-7 FTs, 8 AST, and 28 Points. That was Boykins' line from Friday. Looks like somebody's gonna have crow for lunch. ;)

edit: And you're lucky I don't still have Davis...

fine, but you still can't ruin my day off! :p I was looking at the monthly stats. Boykins did better than Nash last week... freaking midget!!

Duncan was still amazing in only two games, so I was half right. Dajuan Wagner was a peice of crapola: 4 games played, #183 overall.

BTW, hey poop, can I get a refund for PJ Brown? The guy did nothing for me last week.

Holy cow... Poop had 12 players in the top 100 last week. Stark, you had 8, and I had 7. NJ Swamp Dragons had 6, and McDyess' Kneecap, Glowing Monkies, and IHopeImNotLast had only 4 each! In light of that, it's a bit surprising that McDyess' Kneecap spanked Civil Engineers, who had 9! (Of course, Stupid Engineers doesn't play all of them. ;) )

If we give awards at the end of the season, I nominate Stark for "Most Predictable Roster Move." Every Monday morning, Stark is a lock to pick up the free agent who ranked highest for the previous week. This week's example: Anthony Peeler, ranked #9 last week.

Stark, I've been meaning to ask: How'd that Casey Jacobsen pickup work out for ya a couple weeks ago? ;)

I still don't understand why Lake my ass drop Lorenze Wright and take Rod Strickland. Wright had 21 points 8 rebound the night before and lake my ass would rather to have Rick Fox and Robert Horry in his team?
