It's still a free fuking taco too.

Many people have the ability to take a 10-15 min break in a day to go get it if they want.

Also not all people work 9-5pm either that are gainfully employeed.

the point is, only those without a job would eat there for free.... you'll see a lot of welfare people with 3 dozen kids show up.
 
Who the heck is going to go to Taco Bell for just one taco? I'd rather go to a place with food I want than go to Taco Bell just for a free taco.

Ok... lets think about this...because you are a moron... If they did it over lunch time from 12-1, you'd be bitching anyways...

why? because the crowds would be so overwelming you'd stand in line for that entire hour just to get 1 free taco, and then it would be 12:59, you're 3 people away from the register, people get pissed off and leave... wasting their entire lunch, and getting no food. This includes customers who really dont give a shit about the free taco... because they couldnt get a lunch in time before their break ends...
So...do we have a contest to see if we can piss off all our regular lunch customers... or do we give out free tacos during the time when we need to attract customers most?
This makes business sense, and not because of the reason you gave...
