You're doing something wrong, or SOMETHING. I just watched someone play it on max graphics settings and it looks BEAUTIFUL, just like the original but with more interesting landscapes.

Those images are not what the game looks like on max, people.

Screen shot on second one got messed up a bit, but honestly, your screenshots and mine differ too much. I run about 24-30fps with custom settings between Enthusiasts/Gamer settings with 2x AA without V-Sync (first screen). Your screenshots definitely don't look like it was maxed out.

In either case, I was never all that 'impressed' with Crysis graphics to begin with, but I loved the ice, it looked so real.
 
Ok, I played Warhead for 3 or 4 hours tonight, and I can't really see any difference between this and the first Crysis, as far as graphics go. I maxed all graphic settings at 1680X1050 with no AA and to me it looked just as good as I remember. Granted, it has been 8 or 9 months since I played it, and I can't compare them side by side, but I can't notice a reduction in quality in Warhead from what I remember in the original.
