Just found out I passed the level 2 CFA (chartered financial analyst) exam.... 1 more year / level to go.

someone have a beer for me because I wont be able to leave work for 3-4 hours

CPA is to accounting as CFA designation is to corporate finance. It is basically an industry stamp of approval for financial analysts.... The CFA exam has 3 levels and requires a minimum of 3 years to complete (1 test per year). Once you pass all three levels, expect to make 120K+ as an analyst

Passed level 1 and 2 with only studying 1 week each.... you are supposed to spend 6 months studying for each level. I don't recommend my method as it is very stressful. Tests are pretty hard mostly due to volume of material you need to know, not because anything in particular is difficult to understand.

no formal classes are required... just independent study

i cant imagine anything taking a year to prepare for is very easy.

A good amount of level 1 is memory with simple application. Level 2 is actually hard... I hear that level 3 is easiest
