Congrats Kenny! He was always a fine major leaguer. He spent most of his career at Cleveland so it was nice for him to have the hit there.

I didn't see the hit as I'm too busy watching the Mets flounder against the Padres. (I'm switching between the Mets and Yanks games... and I f'n missed the hit AND the squirrel... dammit)

Yea.. except that Belliard just gave up on that grounder by A-rod. That was very lame.

The Indians are a nice up and coming team. They are a couple of pitchers (both starting and especially bullpen) away from something very nice. They are a good example of how you rebuild a franchise (are you watching Mets???)

I have his autographed ball from like 7 years ago. My uncle has a carwash in downtown cleveland and he washes the team vehicles or something.

Yes, they are a good, young team. That can happen when you don't trade your entire farm system away.

Yea... I can't believe they lost.. there goes the division!

:D

... nooooooooooooo, the Mets lost their fourth in a row. Weeeeeeeeeee.. Padres go for the sweep tomorrow. I can't wait. To hell with this team. They play with no life now and Shea is totally empty. GAH!!! :disgust:

oh.. go Tribe! Their bullpen actually held on to the lead. I hope they will continue their rebuilding as their young players look really good. Gotta love Coco Crisp! Gerut and Broussard also look good too. Nice defense by the young Indians during this series.

I hope that squirrel invades Yankee Stadium... he can bring his squirrel pals with him.

The army of squirrels shall be the downfall of the yankees!!

A realistic fan! Wow. Listening to WFAN, sounds like you're one of the few.

The "fans" that call WFAN are either way too optimistic or are simply dilusional. I'll be a Mets fan forever..no matter what. I understand they stink and they make AWFUL decisions (they made another dumb move yesterday signing a bum named Brian Buchanan and releasing a young outfielder in his mid 20's, Prentice Redman...WHY??!!! Buchanan is WORTHLESS..ugh...typical).

I don't think the Mets will ever contend until they realize that they must build a young athletic team around David Wright (who looks great so far) and Jose Reyes (who's gotta stay healthy). The days of Piazza, Franco, Leiter...etc.. are done.

WFAN is still great to listen to if only to laugh at some of the dilusional fans that call in.
