I honestly enjoy peeking in here when I can... it uplifts me and gives me a chance to maybe help keep people from making the mistakes I have already made. 😛

An example of how lucky you guys at AT have been.

It was early 2001 and I was contemplating making a career track change and dissapointing my mentor. It was a difficult time but I was so grateful for the conversations I had with ISLA and I will say now almost 2 years later she was SO RIGHT!!!!!!!! 🙂


ISLA 2001:

If I were in your position, I would tell my mentor that this is very hard for you and that you have really enjoyed your time working with him. Unfortunately, you are in a 'growing' phase---which is painful, but necessary. It's time to learn new things at a new job... and you might be suprised at what those things are, lol! Hubby has worked for a very small company and a very large company.... both experiences have been valuable. You have to keep stretching yourself... you are too young (and too capable) to stop climbing".

This doesn't apply to all, but many of the elites on here happen to be the biggest assholes!

Why is that? Most likely because they have a bloated forums ego, and it's more than likely they don't have one in real life.
