Consider us more as "helpers" rather than wielders of the banhammer. We are the first response to the topics that need to be moved to a different forum, or the cleanup crew for the "FREE IPODS!!!!" posts. We will try and keep things civil through simple requests either in a thread or via PM with the banstick being a last resort from a Senior Moderator.

When the last batch of mods started, I (lovingly) called them "Mod Lites". I guess these new ones are "Near (beer) Mods".
