Lifer is 10k+ posts, but apparently didn't make enough sense in those posts to become an Elite Member.

Elite is someone who's "earned" his title, being supportive/informative in posts, very nice and all that, etc etc. So Elite is only handed to a few people, while anyone can get Lifer as long as they post alot.

EDIT: Oh, there are a few special titles, can't think of many people who have them though, thats extremely rare to get. I can only count maybe 5 or so who has a special title, Rossman has Grand Nagus, NFS4 has Ace Reporter, etc etc.
