Confusion with Geforce 3

Am I to understand that the original Geforce 3 cards are better performers than the later Ti series cards? Which is the best Geforce 3 that was made performance wise?
 
I have regular cracker GF3 and I get over 10,000 in 3dmark... core = 250 and memory = 520 (overclocked). This on a P4 1.6a @ 2.5

that's how it goes.. regular GF3's are stuck in the middle.
they work good.
a Ti200 can easily be O'c'ed to run at GF3 speeds though. saves some bucks (that's what i have in one of my PC's)
