should have a "keep right" sign or "do not merge left" sign but in all seriousness, that road/intersection area is just asking for accidents.

I take it as one way street to the right...and no jumping the island through the sign into the oncoming traffic ;)

makes sense to me...
its in regards to the turn immediately behind it, which you would not want to enter. the road in front of it is where you can turn, of which I am assuming has a sign before it as well.
in all actuality the turns should be separated quite a bit more. that's where florida truly screwed up, much like in michigan where an entrance ramp must merge with a 30 feet or so because staying in that lane would have you exiting nearly immediately.
exiting and merging on from a ramp in michigan can be confusing as scary.

That reminds me of the time my wife and i came across a flashing green traffic signal. So...

flashing red: treat as a stop sign. Stop, then proceed when clear.

Flashing yellow: Proceed with caution

Flashing green:

:p Ya it looks that way but traffic was back up so they were not moving and made a little crack so cars can get though to the other side
