***Confused's UT2003 Demo CTF Server Is Up***

I have just set up a Capture The Flag server for the UT2003 Demo

I'm not sure how my bandwidth will take to it, but i will give it a go

It's listed right near the top of the CTF browser, or alternatively create a shortcut on desktop to

unreal://teamanandtech.d2g.com

Frag away guys! And tell me if it's too laggy (i only have 128kbps upload, should be good for a few people)

Yes, advertised, Skilled


Any/all can be changed

Tho it was getting a little laggy with me (on lan), engineer and engineer_deluxe (whoever that is! )

Not sure how it'll be with more people tho

OK, have changed to non-advertised, and turned up the bots to Adept

So, the lag isn't too bad on a server with 128k upload? If that's the case, maybe I'll run a full version server at some point.

Dasm server restarted itself...and no kb/mouse to turn the UT server back on, as i was installing Mandrake on my computer!

It's up now, and me, Engineer and Ai3x were in there

I'm off to bed tho, it's gettin too late for me!

Me, Assimilator1, The_One, The_Terminator all fragging away, and no one had a ping higher than 100! Me and T1 were a great combo!

If people jump into my server and i notice (i've got monitor hooked up to server and turned on, and i can see if/when people join...providing i'm looking in that direction ) then i'll jump in too

Btw re the ping rates ,probably helped that 3 of us were on NTL cable & T1 is on ADSL(BT?)

Right, u have 3 hours to sell this game to me as to why I should buy it and absolutely slaughter u all. I'm only trying to convince myself cuz I keep buying the damned things but I never find time to properly play most of them.

Colin, Engineer, sorry i couldn't stay on there any longer tonight, i was on phone to friend in Scarborough (goin to see her in 3.5 weeks ), and she was getting a little peeved cos i was concentrating on UT and not talking to her But obviously not concentrating on UT that much cos you were kicking my butt still...as were the bots! :Q

But i will try to get on there next time i see people there, and stay for longer

it's a bit laggy for me. i was playing with 200+ ping. lots of leading the target was involved. i'm over in berkeley - not sure where you are confused. talking in fragments tonight.

I'm in the UK, with a 512/128k cable connection.

Damn is today going slow! :Q Can't wait to get back home in a few hours and start fragging away!

I'm also going to install a retail server when i get home, for those TAers who have the full game
