do u think getting 1GB of RAM is better or 2GB??i will use any of them for the next 2-4 years i think...i just read tht the new 64bit will use the memory to transfer things while nowadays technology uses the HDD dynamics...is this true?? which one shud i use 1 or 2 GB?

It depends on your needs. If you are just gaming and doing normal desktop work you are perfectly fine with 1GB. In fact your system will be faster and will be able to overclock more, as A64 have problems running tight timmings with 2GB of RAM. On the other hand if you will do heavy video/image editing or 3D modelling/rendering etc on a daily basis you will benefit from the extra RAM. Whatever you do don't base your decision on what the future will bring because noone really knows how the systems will be in 2-4 years from now. It's the present that matters.

I do rendering in 3D Studio Max R5, and it helps os much having 2GB RAM. Just normal everyday stuff though, 1GB is fine. And I'm completely new to MMORPGs (yeah Guild Wars), but I was amazed by the performance on there, so it very well might help in there as well. On the other hand, I'm forced to use PC2100 RAM, which sucks, because I know how much timing affects performance now, so get the best speed RAM you can.
Tas.
