Confused about paypal email

I recieved this email to my personal account that never recieves spam of any type and is also the registered email adress of my paypal account. I believe that the 4 digit number they refer to was the last 4 digits of my LAST paypal card, thjey sure do look familiar but I can't be sure... That card expired naturally in the spring and I have had a new one for some time now.... came from service@paypal.com and came in plain text formatting, no HTML, links or anything...

it's probably legit. if your card expires they will need the new expiration date. looks like just a reminder since they have your exp. dat eon file.

so, just close your email, log into paypal and see if you get any messages about needing to do something
and check the info for your CC's and stuff, if you really need to do something, you'll find it after logging in

My eBay card needs the Exp Data updated as well. It's most liekly legit but just go to the site manually instead of clicking the link if you're worried it might take you somewhere strange.
