Confused about 6600 non-gt SLI capabability

I've seen conflicting info about whether or not 6600 non-gt cards are SLI capable. For example, this one - look down the page or search for "Page 5" or "Prolink":

Anyone know the definitive word? They appear have the physical connectors for the bridge so is this restriction a BIOS one?

Actually, now that I look more closely at current 6600 non-gt cards, and I read the text quoted below I think that this is a card which has not yet appeared for sale:

Quoted from article above:
"Looking closely, you can see that the 6600 non-GT solution still employs a bridge over the top portion of the card, which means 6600 SLI will still require slightly different video cards than the cards sitting on the shelf today."

NV says only the 6600GT and the 6800 series are SLI capable as far as I know.
