I am trying to get a Sound Blaster Live! 5.1 sound card to work in my ghetto-ass computer.
Here's the deal: I have a "Rockwell HCF 56k Speakerphone Modem w/Riptide Audio", so basically, my modem is also a really shitty sound card. The modem works fine, but when I installed my drivers for the SB Live, they don't work. No signal is coming from the SB Live card, but if I disable all of the drivers under "sound" in my device manager related to the Speakerphone modem, the SB Live! works fine, however I also loose the ability to connect to the internet with my modem. !Click here to see my device manager!
Can I just download some generic drivers for my modem that will make it work with my sound card? Any other ideas?
Any help is greatly appreciated....
