[Confirmed] Steve Jobs has died

My heart actually sank when I heard the news while driving home from work. A lot of people can say a lot of things about him. But he was a visionary. If it wasn't for him a lot of things we take for granted today in the computer world would either not exist, or be far behind where they are.

My heart goes out to his wife and children. Rest in peace Sir, we owe you a lot.

Very, very sad day. Pretty much proof there is no God. Steve Jobs dies, yet inmates live long lives.

Steve was the heart and sole of Apple....Nuff said

Here's a quote from Bill Gates

I’m truly saddened to learn of Steve Jobs’ death. Melinda and I extend our sincere condolences to his family and friends, and to everyone Steve has touched through his work.

Steve and I first met nearly 30 years ago, and have been colleagues, competitors and friends over the course of more than half our lives.
The world rarely sees someone who has had the profound impact Steve has had, the effects of which will be felt for many generations to come.

For those of us lucky enough to get to work with him, it’s been an insanely great honor. I will miss Steve immensely. "

RIP Steve Jobs. He touched so many lives and made such a huge impact to the tech world. Furthermore it seems as though he was devoted family man. My thoughts are with his loved ones.
