interesting....hopefully they'll make higher speed ones for Apple to include in their not-really-for-your-lap laptops.

I don't think we'll see higher than 15W 1.66GHz dual cores in Yonah. Maybe Merom with Santa Rosa, and almost definitely when they go to 45nm.

When I had a Pentium M, I could undervolt it to as low as 0.700V via RMClock or NHC. That was the absolute minimum Vcore available, and tha was lower than the ULV chips.

Now on my T2300, why is 0.950V the lowest Vcore available via RMClock or NHC? It's pretty upsetting because my chip can do 0.950@ 1.50GHz, so I wish I could set lower voltages for 1.33, 1.16, and 1.0GHz.

What are the voltages on the 15W chips? Does plopping one of those into a laptop suddenly allow for lower voltages than what I can access with the T2300? Is Intel trying to prevent me from running a regular mobile chip as an ULV?

Either intel will cut L2400 or T2300E or price of 2300e will be driven higher by huge demand.

really, WTF is going on with so many stinking model names that confuse everyone

Now that the T2300 non-E is retired, they just need to start selling dirt cheap Celeron M 4x0 laptops. That'll allow people to buy cheap laptops and upgrade to a nice chip at the CPU's aftermarket street prices. Oh, it was fun back in the day getting a Celeron M 360 laptop and plopping in a sub $100 Pentium M 1.5 or 1.6 in its place.
