Confirmation hearings ... Judge Roberts

After spending time watching the hearings its become more and more obvious that all politicians are simply protituting themselves.
They are constantly searching for re-election funds and they rarely say what they mean only what the press want them to say.
Ted Kennedy is the biggest protitute of them all. How he can be a member of the Judiciary Committee, with a killing on his record defies all normal logic. When it gets down to it, a 'regular prostitute' is much more honest. After all, you pays your money, receive your services and are on your way. Politician prostitute themselves every single day, make lots more money and then get to try to pick apart the life of a candidate that is probably the single best legal mind in over 100 years.

I was extremely pleased with the way he conducted himself. He never once gave them the slightest hint on how he would rule on cases that have the possibility of coming before the Supreme Court.

i think Roberts is a fair jurist and he will do a good job. time will tell. joe biden got a lot of free tv time for his run for the white house. his usual self. ask 5 minute question and then 10 seconds into the answer he starts laughing in the persons face and telling him "that is not an answer". what a showboater. and so so stupid. he also thinks he is handsome and humorous. what a dupe. and his people keep electing him.

Yeah, it is pretty pathetic. They ask questions they know Roberts can't answer, while adding in their personal opinions as much as possible.

Confirmation hearings are for the most part, a waste of time and money. Both sides do it and most of the time, it is just a formality like a college rush week. I think a good old fashioned hazing would be more useful when confirming SOTUS appointees.

Your view of the hearings reflects on your ignorance far more then it reflects on the politicians conducting the hearings. Because you know nothing you see nothing. You see what you think is there to see. You are thumping your chest about a banana you found.
Those hearings are of extreme interest to a huge range of extremely intelligent and cogent people.
