Anyway to set this up?
I had an extra card, but now I need it for somthing else. The bios is ok (i think, not like I can see anything) but I have a feeling NT is not liking it. Any advice?

Format and install Linux. :)

NT is going to be pretty picky about not physically having a video card.

I would really look at klinux, or other options.

How can you have a Klinux box w/o a video card?
Don't you have to configure it everytime you reboot,
so you have to have a vid card in there... unless you
rip it our while it's running...

It needs to be NT too, because it's also got about 60GB of DivX i like to be able to get at nice and quick.

Did you remove the display driver before removing the video card?

I tried on Win2k & it just keep rebooting. I guess NT4 will do the same.

I don't know if NT can run headless or not.

As for the bios set halt on errors: none and it shouldn't give you any trouble.:)

From my understanding Klinux only has to be configured once and the changes saved to the floppy. Then upon reboot the only thing required is to logon which is easy enough to do headless.:)

I didn't find any Standard VGA driver in the display driver list, so I simply din't load a driver. The device manager has a yellow ! in the Other devices section but listing it as Video controller (VGA compatible).

I set the BIOS to no video and remove the PCI card but Win2K keeps rebooting.
