Configuring Extra Wireless Router as Bridge

I just bought a new Netgear WGR614 Wireless router with a PCI client to replace an older Netgear MR314 Wireless router. I was hoping to use the PCI wireless client on the second PC for my kid. Unfortunately, there's some problem with the motherboard when I plugin the card.

I am thinking, instead of trying to solve the interface problem, why not convert the older router into a wireless bridge. So...
PC1 - RJ45-> MR314 -802.11b-> WGR614 -> Internet (Cable)

Is this possible at all? I seems to have read a discussion here a month back on the feasibility but a search turn up nothing.

Help?

Thanks Jack...

Look like I've wasted the money... the problem with the PCI Wireless Client card is that it required PCI 2.2 interface while my motherboard is so old that it is probably compliant with PCI 2.0 only :)^i

If the Computer has USB you can find a Wireless USB for less than $20.
