just ordered a raptor 36 gig to go with my 80 gig 7200 wd caviar. my thought would be to put the windows xp and games/ frequently used apps on the raptor and pics/music/infrequently accessed progies on the 80 gig right?
i never partioned the 80, just left it as is, ntfs, with everything on it.
does it make since to transfer everything to the raptor and wipe the 80 clean and then move everything i don't use much back to the 80?
hope i'm being clear. and would it make sense to partion the 80 into 2 40's?
 
1st off you'll have to load the SATA Drivers on the WD 80 gigger before coping on the SATA Raptor or it won't boot after that do what you will and Partitioning the 80 gigger won't benefit anything either
