I agree, I think the sharp edge styling works really well on the Escalade and EXT and the XLR, but everything else just seems to be an afterthought and a bunch of sharp lines.

The headlights and the grill didn't do it for me on the Murano's it doesn't seem to go with the car at all

What an excellent comparison. Basically the SRX looks like 2 other vehicles that look like each other... well no sh*t. The entire Cadillac lineup has similar design cues - cues that are a breath of fresh air compared to the "me-too style" that plagues most SUVs.

When I see an FX driving down the street, I'm not sure if I should puke or try to feed it slurry in a troph.

The Murano, however, I like.

Sharp lines work well on the Escalade? Look at the bulbous Tahoe BEHIND the hood and try to tell me it matches the sharp lines in the front.

I think it looks better than either the CTS or the Escalade, myself. The angular design works a little better on this type of vehicle.

Hell, I think it looks better than the RX330. I just can't get over the Lexus' rear styling. :disgust:

if you see it up close and in person it looks awesome.

I've seen the RX330 in person, sat in it, etc.. It's ugly. Its a good suv, but its still ugly. And while the interior design is nice, they really mashed the different tones together. It looks garish with the silver, wood, and plastic all together...ewww.

I think for the SRX, if its a competent vehicle it will do well. I mean we are just discussing the styling, not its actual drivability. If Caddillac pulls it off, it could be a really hot vehicle in its segment.

Well, if the CTS is any indication, the SRX will do quite well. Too bad they both look like ass
