You take risks every day. The difference is you've acclimated to the daily risks and think of them as normal. Going outside, driving, eating in restaurants, conducting business, interacting with strangers...

Confident people seem to have a common ground- they had a lot of successes or advantages early in life, and that's what they built their life on. They were good at sports, their parents could get them the best clothes/car/etc, they excelled at academics...things like that. Those that did not experience that tend to be more...subdued.

actually and I am speaking from experience -- it`s damn embarrassing going through TSA and all of a sudden having all these TSA agent looking at the XRay machine! You don`t dare ask for a pat down....some of those goons take a real long time sliding their hand down to your knee...…and you hear them say out loud -- DAEMN!!!!!
