Confession time: Your guilty music pleasures

Driving to work today, tuned in to 90s on 9, and suddenly I find myself singing along to Ice, Ice Baby.

Clearly, if someone else was in the car with me, this would not have transpired.

So... what will you admit to listening to when nobody but ceiling cat is watching?

If it isn't country or terrible rap/hip-hop (and most rap/hip-hop is terrible) I'll listen to it. Even pop has to be Bieber-level shitty before I feel compelled to change the station.

Got back from Jury service early today, decided to do some decorating. 1st CD that came on was Celine Dion.....loving it.

Heh. I channel hop until I find something I want to listen to, or switch it off and wait a few minutes before trying again.

However, I would probably listen to BBC Radio 6 more often if it wasn't digital-only, it seems to have more interesting / less pop music that I can tolerate even if it isn't really my thing.

Answering the OP's question, ABBA is probably a good example for me 🙂

There are plenty of random pop/club songs that have vapid lyrics and annoying hooks that are strangely appealing to me. Tik-Tok is the latest one that's been getting stuck in my head. It's so stupid, but I can't help but love it.
