Which one is better for the TBird? I want to make it permanent instead of using a graphite pencil. Which brand is best from each also?

Go to pepboys/autozone and buy the Loctite defogger repair kit for 8 bucks(I believe this is the only brand out there)Use a razor blade for a clean finish. The conductive pen is just as good but the tip isn't fine enough for this job.

Oh for crying out loud..
I have 2 TBirds and a Duron here..
TBird 900MHz at 1024MHz
TBird 1.1 GHz at 1.25 GHz
Duron 600MHz at 900MHz
All have used a graphite pencil. Look here at my last one.

1.1 GHz modified for unlocked multipliers.

It was easy , it was painless, it IS permanate as long as you don't erase it. LOL :p
AND it's CHEAP!!

I know about the graphite pencils. I'm using it right now, but I want to get something more permanent since I've heard of the graphite wearing out in time.

Wik,
Have you receive that free pen. How big is the tip(small enough that we won't interconnect the bridges?)

I pass out on it two months ago,
How long does it take to arrive.

That Chemtronics stuff isn't cheap. There's a company here locally that sells the stuff. I just called them and a .3oz tube of this stuff runs almost $14. They carry 2 different one, one has a standard tip, and the other has a micro tip. I read the specs out on Chemtronics site, and apparently the stuff make the connection with a silver based liquid. I may pick some up tomorrow and try it out, the only problem is that they only have the standard tip stuff in stock. Maybe they'll order the micro tip stuff for me. I wonder if this stuff would be any better than the defogger kit?

I did not pick the pens for the free samples the first time I ordered. I just ordered another sample and went ahead and picked the pens and had it sent to my parents address. When I signed up for a sample the first time it only took about a week to get it. My first sample was some freeze spray, air duster, and heat sink compound. When you sign up for the free pens go the extra step and get the coating also. It comes in green or clear.

Using the defogger repair kit is way easier than I thought. I just finished the job with a toothpick. Easy and fast and durable!
