I just got back from the Halloweenie Roast in Miami, damn that was a good time.

My ears are still ringing.

Lots of good bands, even ones I don't really like on the radio sound pretty damn good at the concert.

There were something like 8 total bands, gates opened at 1 and was over at around 12.

For those that have never been to a concert, what are you waiting for?

Pics from concert.

Heres the list of bands that where there.

Featuring: Papa Roach, Saliva, Chevelle, Shinedown, Nonpoint, Skindred, Collective Soul, Monster Magnet and Future Leaders of the World.

I heard a new Collective Soul song on DC 101 yesterday...I now remember why I never listened to them in the past...

"now show tough" translation = no show though

Hehe. Of those listed bands I've previously seen Collective Soul, Chevelle, and Shinedown.

It is interesting how bands always seem better live, because it's all loud and exciting. Well, sometimes anyways. Plenty of bands just sound terrible all the time.

This retro emo punk crap fad is kinda lame, but I have to thank it for making bands like papa roach and saliva go away.

Gah, I didn't catch that, fixed now.

But I agree with everyone here for the most part. These are a lot of bands that I don't really like but it was still nonetheless one hell of a good time and they all sound really good live, except for Future Leaders of The World, they sucked.

Of all the bands I'd have to say that Collective Soul really did sound the best, and Chevelle was great also.

I wish Monster Magnet would come out with another album like Powertrip.

They said that they purposely strayed from their normal sound to put out that album. Well, I think it was their best.

Watch out for that. Hearing loss is a huge problem. You might not think so now, but in 10yrs you'll consider otherwise.

I wear earplugs at loud events now.

Wish I would have been that smart for all the bands I played in. My hearing is a little damaged now.
