Whatever you have to tell yourself to sleep at night......

You still haven't answered the question if Ted Cruz is one of the Tea Party or not.

Of course he won't answer. Absent facts, name call and deflect.

from the Christian Science Monitor

Sens. Rand Paul of Kentucky and Ted Cruz of Texas are both favorites of the tea party wing of the Republican Party. If both run for president in 2016, as seems likely at the moment, they’d vie for the same conservative voters as a base upon which to build a winning GOP primary coalition.

The Tea Party can claim they're all about fiscal issues all they want, but so long as they keep pushing these far right social candidates and trying to get them elected, then that claim has no merit. If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck it sure isn't a fucking deer just because you name it Bambi.

You're slow.

You still don't get it.

The TEA Party is basically a one issue advocacy group. If the candidate pushed their platform of fiscal responsibility they will support them. Most/many don't care about the rest of the platform. That's how single advocacy works.

That's the nature of single advocacy groups.

Believe it or not, there are those who don't give a damn about social issues.

Hey, at least they care somewhat about politics. That's more than many.

nah the GPOP is really really good at shooting themselves in the foot....

no really

what i want to know is why to fundamentalist right does not decide to vote for a 3rd party. seems like they are not fully faithful to their cause considering the republicans must obviously advance their agenda so well. seems a 3rd party like the tea party is okay as long as it republican. talk about partisan.

BULLSHIT!!! You might be too dense to *see* it, but that doesn't make it true.

Unless...you know...teaparty.org knows less about their party than you do.

I would direct your attention to "Non-negotiable Core Beliefs" number 15 (among others...but we'll start with the one that even you should be able to grasp)

teaparty.org obviously isn't the "real" tea party. Must be some hack from China who stole a domain name and is trying to smear the good name of patriots everywhere. Damn commie scum.

How many times does it need to be said, The Tea Party is about fiscal issues.

It's not my fault they teabagged you even though you deserved it for attacking them.

You seam to have a fascination with teabagging you've been mentioning it a lot lately. You and Texashiker need to get together and sort your repressed feelings for other men.

And I guess we can take from your refusal to answer the question that Ted Cruz is in fact one of the Tea Party faithful you just are afraid to admit it.

Haven't read anything in this thread other than the OP, but I say whomever proposes gay athletes can't play in the NFL must first line up against Michael Sam and have to successfully defend a QB against him before the bill can continue.

Is teaparty.org a fake tea party site? If not there certainly is a lot that goes beyond just fiscal issues in this list.

From teaparty.org:

15 Non-negotiable Core Beliefs

1. Illegal aliens are here illegally.
2. Pro-domestic employment is indispensable.
3. A strong military is essential.
4. Special interests must be eliminated.
5. Gun ownership is sacred.
6. Government must be downsized.
7. The national budget must be balanced.
8. Deficit spending must end.
9. Bailout and stimulus plans are illegal.
10. Reducing personal income taxes is a must.
11. Reducing business income taxes is mandatory.
12. Political offices must be available to average citizens.
13. Intrusive government must be stopped.
14. English as our core language is required.
15. Traditional family values are encouraged.

If someone is trying to troll me then it's a good way to deal with them and it works.

based on Sam's piss poor bench press performance at the combine, probably not hard.
