Concering POST ratings

Hey... I've noticed that my post number does not increase if I post within the SAME thread... is this a new policy now or is there a problem of somekind???

GOLDFISH... if you look at my total number of posts vs. the length of time I've been an Anandtech Forum member (Nov 1999), one can hardly say I'm a person who posts for "numbers"......:disgust:

umm dude how do u know your posts dont increase? post sometihng else right now and we will see..

remember u had 472 post..

It DOES increase, but the num,ber of posts shown under your name on each message is your CURRENT total, NOT the total at the time of posting that message. So you could come back to this thread in a year and see it say "1018 posts" or something.
