Except that he does have a good business mind. Proving once again that only the best business people are the ones that didn't waste their time (and everyone else's) in school, getting a meaningless MBA or lesser BA or BS in various business "disciplines."

WTH! I like many others thought he was shoe in for Fox and vice versa. At the very least Comedy Central but, TBS! WTH! Oh well, I'll watch. Maybe it's just a short term contract and in a couple of years he could jump ship onto another network or try something new. Have to wonder how much he's getting paid.
 
I'm surprised, but considering I have cable....it doesn't really make a difference to me. I'll still watch it.

I've enjoyed many of Tyler Perry's movies and even saw one of his plays in a theater once but House of Payne and Meet the Browns are so damn terrible. I always change the channel when they come on.

I've never seen the plays or movies, and meet the browns is shitty, but I really do like house of payne. some of the characters are annoying but curtis more than makes up for them.
 
It would have been hard to fit him on Comedy Central. The Daily Show and the Colbert Report have a good thing going from 11 to 12 and I doubt Conan wants to move back to the late night spot.

TBS seems like a bad choice, but it could work out for him. I'm sure he can go back to more of the late night humor that he was better at. I'll watch him for sure but TBS better not have people dancing across the screen advertising "the guy who does the John Madden impression" Show while the show is going on.

Yea blacksploitation shows are terrible.

During the NBA playoffs I had to watch 1000 commercials for one of his sitcoms where there was always a black guy dancing or saying something like "You know I be lovin' it!"

If I was AA I would be offended.
