Maybe it's sinking in that he'll be the opening act for a shitty show.

It sucks and all, but it's time to let it go and move on. It was obvious he was bothered by the whole ordeal, but if he can't keep harping about it.

Yeah because all he has done is speak out about it.

Yeah serious. If anything he has been really silent on the matter. The past few months he has been doing some pretty funny stuff via the internet and (/gasp) twitter (I hate admitting that).

Can't wait to see what he ends up putting out in a few months. My favorite rumor is that he is going to do some sort of variety show kinda exactly like Leno had and failed doing.

He's said his part, now move on, that's all. He's made it clear he was wronged and pissed, but why dig it up nearly 4 months later?

For the record, Conan >>>>> Leno in terms of the quality show he can produce, but I just hope he doesn't get distracted by this ordeal now that it's blown over (with the exception of him bringing it back up) and that he'll concentrate on making a funny show

I agree that it has gotten old. The sad truth is that I don't think most people really care about either show, but because there's drama involved they're mildly interested.

Once the drama is gone the shows will go back to their mediocre ratings.

You can't be this dense. He took shots on his show as he was being forced off. He has said really nothing outside the confines of his show.

He had not given interviews and hasn't discussed it. Once again he has been silent on the issue.

He was under a gag order until May 1st. That's why all this stuff is coming out now. He'll be on 60 Minutes on 5/2/10 to discuss the whole thing. Must see TV :)

Exactly, half the people who act like they give a shit don't watch late night talk shows.

First you said he never spoke out about it. Now you're saying he never spoke out about it outside of his show? Ooooo, such a big difference

He should team up more with Stewart and Colbert .... the fake feud between them was just so hilarious!

Yeah, he couldn't bad mouth the station until now. It also happened that he's in the middle of his tour and not too long ago it was announced that's he'll be at TBS in Nov. So, it makes for a good media story right now.

That was awesome. I like how they just admited it was just a ploy to kill time during the writers' strike.

I think Conan is really beating a dead horse at this point and trying to milk this incident for everything it's worth. He should know better than anyone that what happened is the nature of the business.

It doesn't matter if people think he's funny. The problem is that NBC's prime time demo didn't think he was. That's all that matters in the big scheme of things. Ratings. It's a cutthroat industry. The audience is fickle, especially when it comes to on-air talent. That's why I prefer working behind the scenes.

I think it's unfair to bash Leno. He never wanted to retire the show to begin with. NBC did a dick more. They took one of the most popular hosts of the Tonight Show at the peak of his ratings and pushed him out for Conan. Both did well for their respective timeslots so they should have left well enough alone.

Why is he bashing Leno, he should be bashing Jeff Zucker...

He is 'bashing' Leno... because in the end, it's all a "good ole boys" club... by bashing Leno.. he brings attention to leno... IE: ratings.

they may say they hate eachother... but in reality.. they're probably best friends on the backside.

Keep in mind Conan's heard nothing but stuff about NBC and Leno for the past two months, non-stop. So, knowing that he has been pretty hush hush about it.

I watched it tonight. Basically, it all came down to money. It would have cost NBC $150 million to let Leno go. Tossing Conan overboard "only" cost $40 million (including $10 million for his staff).
