"Con" on Comedy Central

First time watching this show...never heard of it before. Basically its a semi-scripted 'reality' show where this guy cons people into giving him free stuff.

This episode he's pretending to be a producer for a new TV show pilot "Extreme Homeless Makeover" where they take homeless guys off the street and make them look like a million bucks. So he calls limo company, Bev Hills salon etc. to get free services.

Best part of the episode...they stop at a McD's and he pops the trunk and he has fresh cups from all the fast food joints so he can get FREE REFILLS!

This show is so desi!

I wanted to watch this, but I missed half of it and sensitive parties were in the room who were offended by the preview of the ladies cleaning his apartment.

Did you notice that each place he called had done free things for TV before?

I thought the show was slow to develop and the payoff wasn't that funny.

I'm pretty sure that the fast food cups for free drinks is theft.

I wonder what happens when they go back to these people to tell them they have been scammed to get permission to air on tv?

Some of the disclaimers said they re-taped portions. I agree that he went through too much trouble, and because of all the disclaimers which I didn't have enough time to read I have trouble beleiving that all of these people were actually duped.

And who hasn't thought about the re-usable cup idea? It just isn't practical when they cost like $1
