Computer's Not Starting.

OK, after I flashed my Asus P4S800DE-Dlx. board to the newest BIOS, the flash loader than restarted my computer after a successful flash. Then, my computer don't POST anymore. I thought it was a flash failure, so I popped up the mobo battery and tried again. Still no good, the computer's HD LED is on for like 10s, monitor's LED is orange (standby mode). Nothing is loading.

Prior to this crash, I have noticed 2 POST failure: 1 is after playing Max Payne 2, I had to turn off the system completely but it worked fine after. The 2nd time was just restarting Windows, the same thing happened and did the same thing, it worked fine after.

When I started the system, I can heard my HD spinning and so is the CPU fan. Is this no POSTING related to hardware failure (RAM? PSU? CPU?).

Let me hear from you! Thank you in advance!

Hey it's amazing that my problem is related to corrupted BIOS flash?!?! I tried what you suggested and loaded back the default BIOS. My computer's back and running!!

I wonder what I did wrong before because the BIOS loader didn't return me with an error message.

some asus bios files are unstable with some systems i had the same thing happen you are no doubt happy and glad to have the comp back
