Skyrocket how exactly ? Show me the graph ...

AMD is still very much behind Nvidia when it comes to minimum frame rates in DX11 on Ashes ...

The graph is in the OP of this thread.

AMD's Crimson.

Compare that to prior Ashes benches from Computerbase on older drivers, AMD's DX11 was way worse.

Fury X DX11 1080p: 30 fps.

Basically there's been an accusation that AMD didn't bother to optimize Ashes on DX11, cos they have DX12 and wants it to look better. It's true. The DX11 vs 12 gap used to be massive. Now it's small.

Had you considered the optimizations on the developer's part ?

A 7 month gap between the first benchmarks and the final release will do just that ...

There's no reason to believe that AMD wouldn't be putting in good work to their DX11 drivers when a large percentage of the customers are still on Windows 7/8 ...

Are you surprised a 384 shader Kepler part can't keep up with a Haswell Celeron at high-ish settings?

No I was surprised that atten's quad A10-7870K @ 4.2GHz gets rated for only ~40-42FPS,this game is supposed to scale on at least 16 threads after all.

??? Close enough to fall into the does it really matter zone.
On the crazy settings it shows 27 fps minimum for dx11 and 20 for dx12. That's a pretty big drop.

more tests. I get a bit pissed when I see nvidia losing performance. Its a worse situation to be in compared to kepler. If this remains the case, the more and more dx12 only games are released the more this will suck.
For the near future only xbone "exclusive" ports will be dx12 only, they've got the awful uwp and are only for sale in the microsoft store for ridiculous prices.

We can do without em.

Yup 8 cores at 4,4Ghz = ~51FPS ,if the GPU ain't dragging you back, for everybody that tooted that Dx12 multi-core-threading graphics will be the shits.
