Computer working fine for a week, now it won't boot up.

I have a P4 2.4 with a Asus P4PE mobo and it has been working fine for a week. One day when trying to power up, the cpu fan stopped working. The case fans power fine but the cpu fan is not moving. No beeps and nothing appears on the monitor. Any ideas? Thanks.

It probably fried your processor. You don't get any output on the monitor?

No output at all. Should I rma the cpu and mobo to newegg?

I tested the cpu fan on another comp and it works fine, but when I plug the fan into the mobo, it does not power up. Any ideas?

Maybe your fan header burned up on your mobo. This would let your CPU overheat and maybe the system is automatically shutting down.

Might want to try powering your CPU fan off of the power supply. Do you have any three pin to four pin power adapters?

try checking your power supply. you could have lost one of the rails.
