Computer won't start

I have a PC with an ASUS A7N266-VM motherboard, but it won't boot up. There is a long "siren" sounding beep that goes continuously at start up...nothing posts on the screen. I checked in the manual and said that it is a RAM issue (either bad ram or ram not detected). I tried other working ram, and the computer still didn't post...I was able to reformat, however, before this started to happen.

I'm thinking that it's a bad mobo.

Any other ideas?

btw, the board's still covered under manufacturer's warranty.

Have you reset the CPU to make sure? Reset the CMOS? Anyway, if you tired known working RAM and you still have the problem, sounds like the MB, time to RMA.

make sure you put the ram in the right slot! I freaked out when this happened to me and I found out that I put my ram back in but in the wrong place!

I already tried both slots with no luck. Thanks.
