My computer goes through bios... loads up everything then starts to load windows xp. During that xp loading black screen, ill get a blue screen that pops up for maybe 1 second, then the computer restarts.

What could this be? Ive been having many problems w/ this build in the past few wks. Harddrive died.. Videocard died... (i changed videocard last week and it was running fine for like 4 days).

Then, i went into windows, and i saw i had a corrupt file msg in the task bar. Like 3 of them. Then i heard a sizzle type noise and computer restarted. Got this ever since. I run ASUS probe, and got no warnings for my fans, temp, or PSU voltage. What can this be?

I can figure out what is causing this and what is causing all my parts to break. Could it be the power supply. Its antec true power 380w w/ the sonata case. The whole build is 2months old, all parts were brand new retails.

Any help Id appreciate

Could be your p/s, you won't know until you stick in another one. Antec makes the best p/s but I have seen one die in my time, they aren't perfect, just close to it.

You are using surge protection, or battery backup I assume.

A sizzle noise has got to be that p/s, I'd send it back.

The power supply is an excellent choice to help. However, you should take a close look at the capacitors on the mobo to be sure none of them is bulged or leaking. Also, memory is often the cause of the problem you are seeing. It'd be a good idea to run a few passes of memtest86 on the modules. Next would be the hard drive, I know it's new, but that means jack. DL and run the mfg diag test on the drive to be sure it's working correctly.
