hey.. the other day i tried to shut down my computer, and windows did it's shutdown thing.. but then when my compuer power was supposed to turn off... it started making loud LOUD noises, and wouldn't shut down. The noise sounded somewhat like a loud cyclic clicking, sort of maybe like my hard disk wasn't spinning down right... but since the power wouldn't go off, maybe it's the power supply? if anyone can help, please so! the only way i was able to get my computer off was to pull the plug to the power supply. 
so obviously since this happened i haven't tried shutting off my computer... but i will need to do so soon, so any help that anyone can give me would be great!
