Computer Won't Install Windows Xp

My computer has been restarting by itself for a couple of months. Just last night it turned off by itself, and would not go past the Windows Xp loading screen. Once it got to the Windows Xp loading screen, it would restart by itself. So I decided to format it and install Windows Xp again. I tried to install Windows but everytime it gets to the part where it has to copy system files from the cd it will say the file is missing. I have used 2 different Xp cds and the same problem is happening. Could somebody please help me out!

Once again (I post this about once a week)
Set everything including bios to defaults. If you have more than one optical drive, uninstall and physically disconnect one. Use only one stick of memory. Try again.

Are you attempting to install Windows XP on a SATA hard drive or an IDE? If it is a SATA, you need to create a SATA/RAID driver disc. You will also need to enable RAID JBOD (Just a Bunch Of Disks) for that single drive.

Otherwise, obtain the diagnostic utility from the hard drive manufacturer and use it to test your hard drive. The drive may be failing. It may also help to enable the SMART hard drive setting in the bios.

I am having the same issue. MOBO is Intel D915GAG. I cannot seem to locate the SATA/RAID driver. I have looked on the disk that came with the MOBO. I have also looked on Intel's site. What am I missing here?
