I have the A7V also and I haven't been able to get fastwrites to work with my Gladiac. I have the latest everything and it still doesn't work.

I run mine at AGP2X no sidebanding and no fastwrites.

I still get over 150FPS max at 1024 in UT, as low as 55 though.

I have the same problem. I have installed the latest via 4-in-1 drivers in standard and turbo mode. I can't boot into windows if I have fast writes enabled.

Asus A7V 1.02
Duron 650@850
128MB PC100 Samsung GL
Hercules 3D Prophet II GTS 64MB@210/400

Or maybe it was with A7V and detonator 3's. I can't remember.

I know I'm using AGP 4x with sidebanding on mine. As for fast writes, I can't remember and WCPUID won't tell me. I'll let you know when I next reboot.

If you are using Abit KT7, try to enable "Enhance Chip Performance" in the Soft Menu III BIOS menu.

I have Creative GeForce2GTS running at 4X AGP with Fastwrites ON on this board.

That what I wanted to know.
I got a 5575 in 3dmark, and i thought i might be better @ agp 4x.

I have a A7V.
