I have a problem that recently developed on my 6 way. After turning the system on, it will count ram until about 980 megs (out of a gig). Then it freezes. Ive had the box up and running on and off for a while. But this is a recent problem. I remember having this problem in the past before, but I forget how I resolved it.

I can't get to a:\ prompt so I cant flash the bios or anything else. I can get into the BIOS but setting it to defaults didn't help.

Any help would be greatly appreciated..

Re-seat your memory
EDIT: Is it a one Gig stick or multiple sticks, if multiple then pop em out and try one at a time, then two until it fails again,
then you would have found your problem.

Or you can go into the bios and set everything up as with the defaults.
