Computer won't boot

Read several posts similar to my situation, but wanted to make sure as to what to do.

Syptoms:
Basically, I shup off my computer the normal way, then it wouldn't boot afterward. Pressing the power button yields no respond. But if I turn the PSU switch off then on, it powers up for 2 second then off then on with fans running, optical drives blinking, hdd led solid for about 5 seconds then shuts off automatically (happens without me pressing the power button). Not OCing and don't think I've done anything to cause a spike.

Have done:
clear CMOS

System:
Mobo: Asus P5B deluxe
CPU: C2D E6400
HDD: WD SATA2 500G
RAM: OCZ 2G
PSU: Antac NeoPower 480W

Everything other than the PSU is about 2 years old, so I am thinking the PSU is the problem.

Any ideas or suggestions?

thanks.
