Computer wont boot from harddrive -just restarts

Ok my girlfriend's motherboard died last week. It wouldn't post and would just free and i checked most all of the parts and deteremined it had to be mobo. So we ordered her a new one ( a different one btw) and i installed it today. The computer posts fine now but when it gets to the point where it will boot to windows. Ill see the little windows xp loading screen for about a split second, then a blue screen with some white writing on it for another split second. Not long enough to read, any ideas of what could be the problem?

Did you reinstall windows after installing the new MOBO? Are those 2 mobos of same chipset? If not reinstall would be a good idea.
