I leave my computer turned on 24/7 but it does go through an inactivity period of approx 4 -5 hours.  After this period of inactivity, when I choose something with the mouse, the computer is "locked" up.  The harddrive does not wake up.  I can get the task bar to appear ( on auto hide) but can not activate anything on the task bar.  I am required to hard boot by shutting the computer off and then on again.  This happens 100% of the time.  If I go to the computer after a shorter period of time (say 1 hour) the harddrive(s) wake up when I try to activate something and then the program will run.

Any suggestions??

System:
Celeron 566 (OC'd to 770)
MSI 6309 V1 MoBo
WD 30Gig 7200RPM (operating system drive)
Fujitsu 20Gig (RPM?)
Innovision GeForce 256
SB Live! Value

Windows power management is flaky at best and will lock up the computer more often than not. What I find works the best if you must have the computer power down is to disable standby/hybernate and the hdd shutdown features and just leave the monitor to shut off, that way usually works ok.
