Computer video and audio recording software

Hi all,

For a school project, I am asked to give a four minute demonstration of a software I have created. We are asked to make a video and then send it to the professor. To do this, I was thinking about using one of those programs that record the video output of the computer along with the audio from an external source such as a microphone. Most have probably seen this used for computer software training videos and the like. Does anyone have any recommendations for a particular program that does this?

Thanks for the suggestion. After looking at their site, I decided to go with their Camtasia Studio offering.

Been using Camtasia Studio. Am comfortable with the program, but have yet to delve into more of its advanced features.
